Koban

This large seeded variety is higher yielding, has greater seed density and contains higher protein than AC Manisoba. It's 1000 seed weight at 31.5 g is slightly smaller than AC Manisoba at 32.5 g. It has higher seed density than AC Manisoba but lower than Koto and Keukett. Seed coat color is brown to black.

Koto

A large seeded variety with increased yield, increased seed density and 1000 seed weight as well as earlier maturity than AC Manisoba. It has a 1000 seed weight of 36.9 g compared to 34.2 g for AC Manisoba. Seed density is high at 621 kg/m³, compared to 557 kg/m³ for Mancan and 570 kg/m³ for Manor. Its protein content is slightly lower than AC Manisoba. The seed coat color is very dark brown to black. It has uniform maturity.

Koma

This very vigorous variety has higher yield, increased seed density, lower 1000 seed weight and is earlier maturing than Koto. Seed density is heavier than Koto at 630 kg/m³. It has a 1000 seed weight of 34.5 g as compared to 37.6 for Koto. Its protein content is slightly higher than Koto at 13.7 % as compared to 13.4 %. The seed coat color is very dark brown to black.
