Flower color
Pink flowered self-pollinating buckwheat.
Flower color and flower bud color ranging from white to dark pink, have been developed. These flower colors may be used to identify different types of self-pollinating buckwheat. Presently most of the common buckwheat produced in North America has white flowers while most of the buckwheat produced in Asia has red or pink flowers.
